Norn Riverside Bangkok Hotel

Booked here for 2 nights. We booked a king room with balcony, once payment was made we received a confirmation email with a notice that this is a no smoking hotel, not even on your balcony. I think this should be stated on the hotel listing page. Room was big with king bed, large fridge and table with 2 chairs and a little balcony with a side view of the river. Aircon really didn’t do very much, so much so I woke up on the second night soaked. Shower was good and shampoo and shower gel provided. Location, although close to Koh San is actually pretty hard to get to. You have to travel over the river and you’re kinda stuck in a one way traffic system so have you go around the motor way to get on the bridge. One 7-11 about 4 mins walk away but nothing else except very local food stands near by. Hotel is nice enough but for the money we’ve had way better in Bangkok. If you want to a little closer to the restaurants and bars, this hotel won’t be for you. The positive is that there’s a ferry pier pretty much outside the hotel, local prices and it took us to ICONSIAM shipping centre for 39bhat. Staff also extremely nice and welcoming.

If you need Service you will be left alone. The hotel couldnt even provide me a spoon when i asked for it in the evening. Also the Restaurant outside could not do me the favor. The receptionist sent me to 7/11 wich is 5 walking minutes away. But they do have Breakfast, so Im wondering how to eat without spoon, LOL

Room is clean and neat. River view and there is a restaurant and also a nice beer place next to the river to chill. Overall great for value. The downside is its location. There’s really nothing near, not even street food or small food stalls without walking 1km away across the bridge which is bustling w all shops fr cafe to restaurants to massage parlours.
