Novotel Bangkok Sukhumvit 20

The hotel itself is nice and clean. We stayed in a deluxe room-->executive room. The room is of good size for 3 persons. I only had issue with the bath tub as it is too high (for my asian height of 5'3") the tub height is above my knee. We had to request for a stepping stool. This room is not adviseable for seniors due to fall risk. It was just my bad that I didn't book for an accessible room, but I didn't expect the bathtub height to be that much 😅 Location-wise, it is somehow accessible as you have to ride their shuttle to get to Sukhumvit main road (Soi 20 or Soi 18 near Asok BTS). From Soi 18 to Asok BTS it is about 10 to 12 minutes walk (5 min along the main road and another 5 to 7 min, going up the BTS platform). Not that far but the heat can be exhausting as expected. The tuktuk shuttle is free, and runs every 30 mins until 9pm. But you have to give them a call (no viber/whatsapp/line messaging) if you want to be picked up from SOI 18 going back to the hotel. I only have e-sim for mobile data, so I had to buy 399 baht thai sim at 711 to make the call. Know that there is no "shaded" designated waiting area for hotel guests. But again, there is 711 nearby. Overall, for tourists who are always on the go, there would be better options. But if you are a chill type and a young traveller, then this hotel can be good for you.

I had a great experience staying at this hotel. The staff were absolutely fantastic and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, especially when I injured my foot during my stay. They were incredibly attentive, kind, and helpful, and I truly appreciate all their support. The food was delicious, with options that made my 4 nights stay even more enjoyable. However, I must mention that the facilities are a bit outdated. Some areas could benefit from some refurbishment to match the high level of service and food quality provided. Despite this, I would still give a five-star rating due to the amazing staff and the wonderful service they provided during my time here. I am really grateful to them!

Had a fantastic stay here! The hotel is perfectly located in the center of Sukhumvit, surrounded by so many shopping malls, restaurants, and everything you need — super convenient for both shopping and exploring the city. The hotel itself is clean, modern, and very comfortable. A special thank you to Dear and Snack at reception for being so friendly and attentive. They made check-in effortless and were always happy to help with directions and recommendations even we came very late night, we still got warm welcoming :)
