Novotel Living Bangkok Sukhumvit Legacy

I recently stayed at Novotel Living Bangkok and overall the facilities, location, and room setup were good. However, there were a couple of issues that really affected our experience. Every evening around 7 PM, the suite room had a very strong smell of fish. The smell was terrible and filled the room, making it very uncomfortable to stay inside. We actually had to leave the room and go out because the odor was so strong. Plus the gym is super super old. This happened repeatedly during our stay. Another disappointment was the laundry service. It took two days to return our clothes, which is already quite slow, and when we received them back, some of the clothes had become smaller, likely due to improper washing or drying. Overall the hotel has good potential, but these issues were quite disappointing and definitely affected our stay.

A fantastic hotel for families! The indoor playground offers plenty of activities for kids, and the swimming pool is great. Breakfast was wonderful with lots of choices. We were especially impressed by the friendly and helpful staff — thank you to Julie, Ice, and Pie at reception, and Oraya with Ana at the playground, for making our stay so enjoyable. Highly recommended for families!

We started with a Jr.Suite, upon check in we were greeted by extremely friendly staff, Ice, Dai, and Nicky??? I may possibly have the 3rd name incorrect?? Sorry We were checked in quickly and also received a complimentary upgrade to the 1 bedroom executive suite was perfect! A couple of minor things we should note, there is no place to plug in a hairdryer in the bathroom?? Also no other sitting place outside of the bathroom for any of you ladies?? My wife made it work, we did find that odd however? The shower water pressure is completely incredible!!!!! The washer dryer was a nice amenity as well as the fully equipped kitchen, 2 large big screen flat tvs, 1 in bedroom, 1 in living room, also a beautiful balcony to soak in the views of the city, no chairs however? Also sort of odd? The minor things were exactly that, do not let them bother you, this place is very nice, youll love it! We stayed in suite number 2070 for 4 days and it was it superb!!! At the last moment, our plans changed and we booked 1 more night, however this time our only option was to relocate to to building 1, it was just a standard room this time, nothing fancy, just basic, if I we were to stay again, we would only choose the the suite especially for longer term, we just didn't feel the standard room was worth the costs... I hope this helps any other potential guests, overall this place is excellent, its has a pool dining options etc. The above mentioned staff however are what truly makes this place shine!!! What are you waiting for?? Book your room, best location, everything and I mean everything is well withing walking distance, enjoy your stay 😊 (The photos are of the suite)
