I had the opportunity to join their river cruise, and it was truly a wonderful and memorable experience from start to finish. The cruise along the Chao Phraya River offers a unique and beautiful way to experience the charm of Bangkok at night. One of the highlights was the variety of food available on board. There were many options to choose from, including both Thai and international dishes, and everything was well prepared and delicious. The buffet was nicely organized, and there was something for everyone to enjoy. Being able to dine while slowly cruising along the river made the entire experience feel special and relaxing. The nighttime views of Bangkok were absolutely stunning. Seeing the city illuminated, with its temples, bridges, and skyline reflecting on the water, created a magical and peaceful atmosphere. It’s a completely different perspective of the city that you cannot experience from land. The staff were very attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the cruise. They made sure guests were comfortable and well taken care of, and their service added greatly to the overall experience. There was also a live show on board, which was very entertaining and enjoyable. The performers did a great job creating a fun and lively atmosphere. What impressed me most was the overall value — the experience, food, service, and entertainment were all excellent, especially considering the price. Overall, this river cruise is a fantastic experience that combines great food, beautiful views, quality entertainment, and excellent service. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a special evening and see the beauty of Bangkok from a different and unforgettable perspective.

We booked a last-minute stay at Riverside Bangkok Hotel when most other places were charging sky-high prices, and honestly, it turned out to be a good find. Big thanks to Khun Weerada for helping us out and giving us a top-floor non-smoking room with a gorgeous view of the Chao Phraya River, perfect for the New Year’s Eve countdown cruise right outside. Now, let’s be clear: the room is basic, and you really do get what you pay for. So don’t expect luxury hotel standards or compare it to five-star resorts you may have stayed at. That said, it covers the essentials, comfy beds, fridge, Wi-Fi, simple American breakfast buffet that would last you for a day, and a swimming pool. The shower pressure wasn’t the strongest, but it worked fine. Towels were fresh, good quality soaps, and housekeeping was available on request. The location is super convenient. Right nearby you’ll find a massage parlour, coffee shop, temple, souvenir stalls, and even a 7-Eleven for quick runs. Plus, the hotel has Craft Port, a nice spot to spend the evening. Staff were friendly and courteous, which made the stay feel welcoming. It said that there is nearby BTS station for those who check-in without transportation. The highlight was definitely the New Year’s Eve dinner package on cruise. We had front-row seats to the fireworks over the river, it felt like they were bursting right above us. The food was tasty, hot and cold beverages kept coming, and there was live Thai traditional entertainment to set the mood. They even handed out little gifts like a pouch and a cap, which was a fun touch. The Chao Phraya fireworks show was absolutely mesmerising, a magical way to kick off 2026. Firework view was on both sides of the river and the cruise lasted until 1 o'clock in the morning. Overall, if you’re looking for an affordable riverside stay with unbeatable views and a festive atmosphere, this hotel is a solid choice. Just go in knowing it’s simple, not luxury, and you’ll enjoy it for what it is. Please, don't try to sneak in durian.

This hotel is not for Pure vegetarian tourist. Most of the people stay here are coming here in big groups. There is nothing available except bread, butter and 2 cut fruits in the breakfast. The roads are always blocked due to traffic jam. Everything is too far from this place Airport it takes 2 hrs even people who come here to pick up for side seeing cannot reach hotel in time for pick up. There are multiple Hotels with name included as Riverside and many drivers take you to different Riverside hotel if address is not given properly in details it happened to us three times while dropping us from various places in 3 days. No one available here to help for your luggage you need to carry on your own to the room. Front desk people hardly understand English.

Riverside Bangkok: Stunning Views but Location and Rules Hold It BackI recently stayed at Riverside Bangkok, and the standout feature is undoubtedly the beautiful Chao Phraya River view from the rooms—it's serene and picturesque, especially at sunset. The hotel is well-equipped with all the basic facilities you'd expect: big, clean rooms, a pool, gym, and reliable Wi-Fi.Breakfast buffet offers limited choices for Indian guests, mostly sticking to bread, butter, fruits, and eggs. Non-vegetarians and Thai food lovers have more variety, which extends to the restaurant menu as well. Staff are polite but stick rigidly to rules, which can feel inflexible. It's not centrally located either—major attractions like the Grand Palace and shopping areas such as Siam Paragon or Chatuchak are 10-14 km away, so plan for taxis or rideshares.Overall, great for a relaxing riverside escape if location isn't a priority
