Romance Hotel Sukhumvit 97

Not a very good location. It’s close to 7 which is nice but besides that it’s far from everything. The pool is old and sad. You have to walk a ways from the lobby to the actual rooms, had to carry many of my own bags. Staff did help but they didn’t have a cart to put the bags on, leaving me to carry mine along with my toddler. The receptionist wasn’t very nice. I asked for help with my bags as they were outside rolling down a slope (the ground is slanted) and instead of helping she just blankly said “passport.” Normally the first thing a staff does is greet you at the door and help with your bags. I found this very unfriendly Overall it’s okay if you have a layover and need a cheap stay, but I wouldn’t want to stay more than a day.

First ot all I will not conplain the employees because they are not at fault because of the management and its expectations. Breakfast was acceptable, for the value of the money. Also staff kind and welcoming, appreciate that and greetings for them. 🪳🪳prepare for cockroach. Yes, also in the room. It is a dirty neighborhood FAR FAR FAR FAR away from everything. Add a very loud AC, but this was the least problem in there. I don’t understand those reviews, also from Google maps. Rooms are very dated, I don’t have a problem with this, if is taken care of things and their maintenance is good. Toilet was running. Bed linen filthy, blood spots also on it. I knew that hotels are required to have white towels, snow white. Does not matter if smells good, and are clean. Need to be snow white. These ones does not give you that feeling. Pillows, also really bad quality, like you sleep on nothing. Ohh..and don’t forget about the view from the room. It is ridiculous. It is a joke. I am not an insatiable and disrespectful person, i don’t give bad reviews almost never, but this time I had to do. Also, I booked for a Deluxe room, and did not receive the room for I made a reservation. Seems very different on booking and on pictures.
