S Ratchada Leisure Hotel

This hotel likes to detain money indiscriminately. When I checked in, I was asked to pay a deposit of 2000 yuan. When I checked out, I took photos and told me that there was cigarette ash, but I didn't smoke. Afterwards, the front desk staff pretended to check it, and then said that there was no cigarette ash, but it smelled of smoke. Because I had a cigarette in my hand, I was told that I smoked, right?

The hotel management is very rigid and unaccommodating to tourists’ requests. Avoid this hotel at any cost — it is not tourist-friendly, and they treat every opportunity as a way to make extra income. I accidentally booked for the same day instead of the following day. I noticed the mistake within one minute of receiving the booking confirmation, but they refused to change the date or waive the cancellation fees so I could rebook correctly. I’ve never had such an experience in any other country.

Acceptable accommodation. Not suitable for smokers; there is no designated smoking area in the hotel. There are no balconies in the rooms. Staff and receptionists, upon learning you are a smoker, are disrespectful and constantly warn you that smoking is prohibited. The room windows are locked by hotel management and are not to be opened under any circumstances. Additionally, you are required to pay a 1000 B fee per guest for late check-out. If you are late, the fee is refunded; if you check out on time, the money is returned.
