Samantao Heritage Coffee

We came here because of the good ratings. We walked here from the Embassy Diplomat Screen because the movie theater was not open yet, so we decided to have some coffee. The walk was about 10 minutes. The cafe was beautiful, and the garden was nice, but the noise inside was a little louder than average. The staff was friendly and helpful. I like the place and would recommend it if you stay nearby.

Went on a weekday morning and had a great experience. Service was fast, which was perfect for a quiet morning visit. The food and coffee were both really good, well-prepared and satisfying. A fun bonus is that you can feed the catfish as well (around 20 baht), which adds a nice, relaxed touch to the place. Definitely a pleasant spot to start the day, located just right off the main road yet feels like a different place!

The restaurant’s ambiance is impeccable—elegant, serene, and refreshing. What you eat for breakfast hardly matters; it’s the experience of being in a calm oasis, a rare escape from the noisy chaos of Bangkok with its birds, flowers, and fish. The view is truly stunning—a real visual highlight. However, the food is just average, and the service leaves much to be desired: staff showed no smiles, ordering requires customers to enter the tiny interior, which is only about 10–15 square meters with three tables, making it crowded, disorderly, and uncomfortable while waiting in line.
