About
A Sukhumvit café that takes sourdough seriously — the toasties and bread pudding have earned a following. Coffee is full-bodied and layered. Worth a stop after a morning wander through the nearby markets.

This was the most open kitchen restaurant I’ve been to. The spaces of dining and kitchen meet. Customers can see how their food is made—fruits are chopped for juice, pizza dough is rolled, and breads are placed in the oven. Unique flavour combinations are offered in their drinks. Fior di latte pizza was delicious

Nothing beats a morning stroll through Bangkok’s markets—the buzz, the fresh produce, and the anticipation of a delicious day ahead. After my walk, I topped off the morning with a perfect breakfast at Sarnies. The juice is outstanding—freshly made and bursting with flavor. I highly recommend the apricot and yuzu pastry; it’s a must-try for anyone visiting. Great coffee, tasty bites, and a kid-friendly vibe that pairs well with a quick market wander before a day of adventures. Ordered the Christmas toasties with a latte and finished the meal with their bread pudding. The sandwich is excellent—great flavour and perfectly done. The coffee was full-bodied with a pleasant hint of acidity. I also loved the ambience: high ceilings, an open kitchen concept where you can watch the team prepare sandwiches and pizzas right in front of the tables. Service was warm, friendly and attentive throughout. A wonderful experience overall—highly recommended!

Negative Reviews
I honestly had a very disappointing experience at Sarnies Sourdough. The place itself looks clean and aesthetically pleasing, but unfortunately the service completely ruined the visit. The staff member serving the food had a very poor attitude — plates were literally dropped on the table without a single word or basic courtesy. It genuinely felt as if I was being treated like someone asking for free food rather than a paying customer. To make things worse, the dessert I ordered was extremely dry and tasteless. It honestly felt old, as if it was past its freshness or had been sitting out for too long. In short, the atmosphere and appearance of the café are one thing, but the service and food quality tell a completely different story. Definitely not a place I would visit again.
