Sathorn Vista, Bangkok - Marriott Executive Apartments

My wife and I have stayed here several times recently and every stay has been excellent. Although this property is oriented more toward long-term stays, short-term reservations are often a great value and staying in a multi-room apartment can be a nicer experience. Check-in/out is just like at a hotel, with staff to help with luggage, luggage storage, and of course the check-in itself. The recently renovated apartments are modern and comfortable, all the appliances, fixtures, and facilities are in great working condition, and the apartments are stocked with everything one needs. All of the staff are warm, friendly, and helpful - we enjoyed using the pool and gym facilities as well as the nice breakfast buffet. Location is on Soi Suan Phlu - a historic street with a variety of restaurants, street food, massage shops, and even a traditional local wet market. The busier Silom area along with the Sala Daeng BTS station is a 15 minute walk, as is Lumphini Park. This has become our go-to lodging when we visit Bangkok.

Sathorn Vista delivers consistently great service and generous size rooms. The reception and concierge teams are friendly and helpful, assisting with same-day restaurant reservations and offering a warm welcome each time guests enter the lobby. The property’s fifth-floor amenities include a gym, sauna, and an excellent kids’ playroom, which add strong value for families and longer stays. Location is approximately a 15–20 minute walk to the nearest BTS/MRT station. The hotel operates a scheduled shuttle to select destinations that requires advance booking, and ride-hailing services such as Grab or taxis are easy to arrange. During our stay, there was limited construction noise during daytime hours. Staff explained this was due to ongoing floor renovations and the disturbance was restricted to office hours. Breakfast offers a wide selection, but the quality and flavor did not meet our expectations. We recommend others to consider nearby dining options for meals. The swimming pool would benefit from more frequent maintenance, as the water appeared slightly discolored during our visit. Overall, for travelers who don’t mind the walk to public transit or who plan to use taxis, Sathorn Vista represents a strong value for an executive apartment-style stay. We enjoyed our visit and plan to return, though we would skip the paid breakfast next time.

Wow - Renovated Rooms. Stayed at this hotel many many times over the last 15 years. Great central location, with loads of restaurants nearby and the skytrain. We checked in early January 26 and were kindly given a new renovated room, wow they were fabulous…… we had a 1 bedroom & 2 bedroom apartment.
