A beautiful boutique hotel on a canal. 6 rooms. Can relax in the common area. They will cook dinner. Nice breakfast. A calm atmosphere compared to hectic Bangkok.

From the moment I walked in to the last wave at the gate, I felt at home. This quaint little B&B is situated right on the river, complete with a beautiful garden, delightful interior - everything seems, and often is, handmade - and absolutely marvellous PEOPLE! We had a wee situation with a rather vocal puppy who seemed to prefer the night time for his melodic stylings - my discomfort was noted and solution offered immediately. This, perhaps, should be noted - ear plugs are a good idea in Thailand, especially if your routine surroundings are on the more quieter side of the scale. And another thing! I forgot my meds in the fridge, and they arranged for them to be delivered, 2 weeks later, to the hotel I stayed prior to my departure! Also, the taxi was arranged and on time, suggestions about the neighbourhood were right on the money, and to highlight the homeliness of the place - chats were frequent, friendly and pleasant. In case I haven't made it clear: everything was simply magical: great location, great price, great food, great service, great company, great views - in short I recommend wholeheartedly and will definitely return.

We loved staying at Siamotif!! I’d go back in a heartbeat! Everything is very open and welcoming..from the small entry court through the reception sitting area, the central garden, open kitchen then dining area right at the rushing canal..it’s very intimate and domestic. I won’t add pix as most of the other reviews have photos which give a good view of the hotel. As another review said..the hotel is away from the craziness! Compared to Chinatown this is in a much calmer neighborhood. Still street food stalls, temples, etc..but at a leisurely pace. My personal affection was for Yakie and her team; super personable and always there if you needed something and interesting to talk with. They make you feel like you’re visiting your sister’s place. The breakfasts that they brought each morning nailed it for us. Real pleasure eating while watching the boats pass by, then later feeding the fish. We stayed in the room in the old house, complete with a mosquito net; our friend stayed in the new portion by the canal; it’s contemporary and no nets required . A roof deck on this new portion overlooks the canal which is magic at night.. I really take my hat off to Mai ( Mae?) the owner, for her vision and putting it all together. Honestly, this is an oasis.
