SILOM | ONE

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Location saves it. The only real saving grace of Silom One Hotel is the location. It’s just steps from Sala Daeng BTS and very close to Silom MRT, which makes getting around Bangkok extremely easy. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is quite dated. The room was clean but worn — aging paint, moisture damage in the bathroom, no headboard, and an extremely hard bed that would benefit from a foam topper. The TV is very small, making it hard to see from the bed. Service is very limited. We were initially told 'No' when asking for fresh towels or extra towels for the day, and were later told they would allow it once as a “concession,” with future requests charged. Extra pillows were also not available. Accessibility and safety are concerns. The elevator is very small (two people with luggage couldn’t ride together). There’s an unexpected step at the front entrance that’s easy to trip over (I did), and low clearance in the stairwell — I also hit my head going downstairs. The building does not feel handicap accessible, and the front desk is not staffed 24 hours. Bottom line: great transit location, but otherwise not very nice. Location is really the only thing that saves this place.
