Rooms are old but have a certain charm. The bed is very firm with some creaking, and the shower isn’t great, but overall it fits the price point. Location is solid: close to train lines, buses stop right out front, and Chinatown is an easy walk away.

Great location! Great service! The room is little old, but you get what you pay… The staff is very nice and helpful. The location is great! It’s very close to the main train station, right in front of the MRT. Very easy to go anywhere. The room is a good size. It’s clean but little old. It’s also very quiet.

The Good : It is a budget hotel. The location is superb. The Bad: The room is not sound proof. You can hear the noisy traffic on the busy street all night long. I slept merely three hours before removing to another hotel. The Ugly: The bathroom smelled really bad. The plumbing system needs immediate renovation.

I don’t think this place deserves a 4.5 rating at all. The walls and windows are very thin, and the facilities are very old. I could hear traffic even while wearing soundproof headphones—it felt like sleeping on the road. Luckily, I only stayed one night and then found another place. Don’t waste your money here.
