Somerset Ekamai Bangkok

Such a fantastique hotel for families, super practical, 10min walk from the subway, they even provide a free shuttle. Large apartments, with lovely breakfast tucked away on a quiet alleyways yet minutes from the best neighborhood for families in Bangkok. Kids loved the playground in the sand and the pool. I ll come back.

4⭐️ We love the Somerset hotels. The room we got for this trip was pet friendly, and really good size. They have a free shuttle to the MRT station (or BTS, one of them I can’t remember). It is close to a lot of food and shopping. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good hotel in Ekamai.

Family stay, January 2026: Somerset Ekamai Bangkok was a strong upper mid-range base for a long city visit. The lane outside feels safe and calm, with Prim, Chingu Grill and Joushitsu Sushi just to the left, Big C nine minutes to the north, BTS Ekkamai about a twelve-minute walk, plus a half-hourly shuttle around the block. Our two-bedroom then premium one-bedroom apartments were genuinely spacious, with good separation of rooms and strong, quiet air-con; daily housekeeping kept everything very clean, though pillows were weak and showers mixed strong pressure with leaky doors and temperature drift. For this part of Bangkok the combination of space, location, adequate gym and on-site Daisy’s Ice Cream felt fair to good value. Above all, staff were excellent: warm, quietly efficient and helpful throughout.
