If you’ve spent the last few hours navigating the chaotic, crowded aisles of Platinum Mall, this Starbucks is the ultimate sanctuary for a mid-afternoon reset. The Perfect Pit-Stop Located on the ground floor right next to the Novotel Bangkok Platinum Pratunam, it serves as a strategic resting point. One of its best features is the direct access to both the Novotel hotel lobby and the Platinum Mall itself, making it incredibly easy to duck into for a caffeine fix without having to trek back out to the main street. Rest & People Watch I visited around 4:00 PM and was pleasantly surprised to find no crowd. Unlike the frantic energy of the mall floors, it was quiet and calm. There was no need to wait for an available seat, allowing me to snag a prime spot by the window. It’s a fantastic place to sit down and people-watch the bustling crowds and tuk-tuks passing by on Phetchaburi Road while you rest your legs. Why Visit? • Convenience: Seamless transition between shopping, the hotel, and the cafe. • Atmosphere: A much-needed quiet zone compared to the noisy wholesale floors. • Timing: Late afternoon seems to be the "sweet spot" to avoid the morning or lunchtime rush.

We enjoyed an iced cafe latte, iced hibiscus tea and a chocolate chip banana muffin. There was no wait. Plenty is seating inside with air conditioning. There is also outdoor seating available. The staff was friendly, kind, and professional.

In my country, we don’t have Starbucks, so this was my first time trying it — and wow, it was totally worth it! 😍 The coffee was rich and authentic, and I must say, the croissant was the tastiest I’ve ever had 🥐💖. Their signature cake was also super delicious 🍰 — soft, fresh, and full of flavor. Yes, the prices are a bit expensive 💸, but for the taste and experience, it’s definitely worth trying — especially if you’ve never been to Starbucks before. Highly recommend it! 🙌✨
