Taipan Hotel

A bit aged hotel in a great location along the subway. Surprisingly peaceful considering the area. It is close to Soi Cowboy if you are into that kind of stuff. Breakfast was a bit lackluster. Kind service and clean. Pool unfortunately didn't have a lot of sunshine hours as the sun is blocked by other buildings.

Best hotel in Bangkok! You can pay more but why? You don't need to! The combination of value and amenities makes this the place to be! The rooms are spotless and huge with a sitting/living area for eating, a desk for working, a full room length counter for all of your things and luggage. Unlimited very hot water, powerful air conditioning cools your room down in minutes, they provide robes, slippers, A safe, coffee maker and refrigerator. The staff is incredible, wonderful smiling cleaning ladies who are always pleasant and happy no matter what kind of mess you made the night before! The amazing night manager and night doorman are always there to help you no matter what time of night it is and greet you with a smile. The location is perfect close to everything yet tucked away next to some open green space so you wake up to the sound of birds in the morning instead of traffic. A real treat for busy Bangkok! Nice pool and weight room. What more do you need?? Even the reservations people are great, I had a reservation accidentally canceled by Booking and they told me not to worry and kept the reservation for me anyway despite being the popular New Year's Eve which they could've rebooked easily. I come here every year and will not stay anywhere else! Thank you Tai-Pan for everything!

rooms are massive, comfy and clean!! the sauna and gym are perfect! but the housekeeper lady is the most kindest person and always went out of her way to see if i needed anything ! lovely lady x
