As a long-time sneakerhead, it has been great to see sneakers and sneaker culture move from the fringe to the mainstream of fashion. OG shops were small, mum-and-pop-type stores, often specializing in one or two brands. Fast forward 40 years, and premier sneaker stores are “lifestyle destinations” that share a vibe with Apple stores. Teenguu is a relatively new addition to Bangkok’s sneaker retail scene, beautifully designed with a long layout, bright colors, a cool arcade-style claw machine for sneakers, and walls of sneakers. Their commitment to box-fresh culture is evident in the many shoes wrapped in plastic to ensure they remain in mint condition. Brand-wise, I spotted many Nike and Adidas shoes, but I will take a closer look next time I visit—and props to the service staff who were warm and welcoming.

I’ve bought expensive shoes from many stores before, but this one is by far the worst. Their online service is absolutely terrible—the back-end team does nothing to help, they sent the wrong size and then went completely silent. After-sales support basically doesn’t exist. The thousands I spent feel like money thrown down the drain. If you’re looking for a reliable store, skip this one entirely—it’s not worth it at all!
