Dorms clean. Beds a bit squeaky. Kitchen clean, as long you don't try to use stuff that hasn't been moved for longer: cockroaches in old water boiler, they sometimes come out and are elsewhere in the kitchen area. Guests mainly Asian, I was the only European during my stay. Staff speaks good enough English and is helpful.

The good thing is staff. Very friendly and helpful. The beds are rock hard and mix dorm is in 5th floor so it’s very hard to climb up with your heavy backpack. The lobby area is very smelly and dirty because the owner have dogs and cat so the pee and poo all over the place. You can find very good 2 other hostels in the same street with low price.

The room was very tiny with no windows and did not smell very good. No sheets on the bed- only a quilt blanket- so I hope they wash those every time. I prefer sheets. Also on the 4th floor so a lot of climbing stairs. No interesting sights or restaurants near by. I had to take a Grab to go see things. Very nice staff working here. Location was ok- I just didn't know how/where to use public transportation- it would be great if they had maps and information on that and suggestions of what do do like the 2nd hostel I stayed at did. A/C worked good. Free water and coffee provided- thank you! Cute pups and cat here- they had rescued a kitten so bless them. It was an okay stay.
