Thailand Shoes Shop

I was in Bangkok for about a week when I came across this store. The displays looked very nice so I decided to sit down and get my feet traced for a pair of custom shoes. The service from the ladies was very nice and friendly but I'm a bit disappointed with the final product. For some background, I have a tough time finding normal shoes since my feet are an odd shape. In my home country, getting shoes made for you is extremely expensive so I was really excited at the thought of having a custom pair made in Thailand (they should be cheaper and also just a nice souvenir). "Custom" apparel like shoes should fit nicely. Not too loose, not too tight. Unfortunately, like a previous customer stated, the front area of the shoe is very tight and frankly a bit short. I'm not convinced these are custom or if they are just made to the closest thing they have with pre-cut leather/fabric in the warehouse. So, why do I not think they are "Custom"? As I stated before, my feet are an odd shape so and I know them very well. What I received feel like the sample I tried in the showroom. Those in store were slightly short and a little tight, the same feeling I have with the shoes I received. In my case, I think it would've been better to spend my money elsewhere and not have gotten my hopes up on what I think would be a perfect fit. Side note: If you have normal feet and think what you try on in the showroom are a good fit, I think you would get a fine shoe. Just don't expect anything above and beyond. I think in this case, you do get what you pay for.
