This hostel is okay overall. I booked the all-girls room and, as a transgender guest, I felt comfortable and like I belonged here. The receptionist or owner is usually at the nail shop downstairs, and the hostel entrance is a small door leading upstairs. The bed and restroom were okay. If you plan to use the lockers, make sure to bring your own lock. The location is very close to Khao San Road, which is convenient for travelers.

The House Hostel Bangkok is recommended for solo or budget travelers. It is located in a prime area on Khaosan Road. There are many shops and food places nearby like 7-Eleven, Burger King, and lots of bars. However, the options for vegetarian food are very limited. There is a bus stop close to the hotel with buses to major tourist spots, including direct buses to Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang Airports. The staff is friendly and accommodating, though there is a small language barrier as they speak only basic English. The only downside is that there is no drinking water available. Overall, it was a great stay!

NO LIFT high slope stare case .Just suitablea short nap for waiting Montanatip bus.Nothing Amenities Toiletries, even water bottles 😭It is known for its social atmosphere and is just a short walk from the main Khaosan strip, making it convenient but slightly removed from the direct noise of the clubs. If you are planning to stay here, you are also within walking distance of major landmarks like Wat Phra Kaew (Grand Palace) and Wat Pho.

Too weird to give the benefit of the doubt, honestly the place was clean enough ish for the pr8ce, neighbors (thin wall) were normal nice thai people also, room price was low at 300 baht in person. But.. it's run by an Indian guy with dreads, whom just after I told him I would pay online and after I just did that he asks 'pay cash?', uh okay bit weird, nothing special, 'no I just paid online'.. Ok but after he tells me 'the room is on the second floor.. you can leave phone here charging, faster'. Uh what? Two sketchy statements right after each other. Why the hell would I just leave my phone in an allyway next to the road in BKK??? (reception was via a small window to the nail salon (ran by nice Thai ladies) where you talked through and appeared for a moment for the booking) 1% chance this was said out of awkwardness, 99% chance it's Indian scamming bullshit attempt to take my phone, didn't feel safe to go out and leave my bag in the room there after, very sus. Aside from that, normal night, AC worked.

This probably the most simple accommodation that you can still legally call a hostel. Actually, it’s a nail salon that rents out the rooms above it. The reception is the nail saloon. It is okayish to stay for one night, especially given the cheap price, but it’s definitely not an enjoyable place. The bed was clean, apart from that there was a lot of dust, stains on the walls, dirt in the fan, a socket fell of the wall, etc. The worst for me were the shared bathrooms which were constantly dirty and smelly during my 3 days which brings me to the suspicion that they were never cleaned during that time. Also, eating is not allowed in the rooms (I am okay with that) but there’s also only 3 chairs in a 1m wide hallway at the entrance where you can. Also, there is no trashcan there so your only feasible option is to take the food waste to your room.
