Great Hostel! Clean, modern rooms with comfy beds and quite big bathrooms. Located in a quieter neighborhood, with restaurants/coffee shops etc. in walking distance. And the rooftop chillout area is perfect for enjoying the sunset!

We loved our stay there; the neighborhood is quiet and all amenities are close by. The rooftop is very pleasant with a lovely view. The café just downstairs from the hotel is very good and the lady who runs it is very kind.

The Local Ari is technically a hostel but we had an extremely large and well appointed private room with a comfortable king size bed. Television with Netflix and YouTube Tv. In a local part of Ari. Quiet at night we slept well. Lovely little coffee shop on the first floor. Perhaps the best value I've found in Bangkok.

This could be a really nice place to stay. It feels like it's managed to make things easier for the owner and not the guests. Rooms are nice and it's in a good location. We asked if we could drop our bags and we were told they would be put in a safe staff room. Came back 6 hours later to find out bags in the public space unsecured. The roof was leaking the entire time we stayed in 3 spots in our room and multiple outside, and only got information and an apology when we were upset. Our room was not ready when we came to check in at 2pm. Rooftop restaurant is advertised in the pamphlets, online, and on the door... but it's closed down. Would have taken 5 seconds to update the info. When we asked to extend for 5 days as this place is near our friends, they offered zero discount off the regular price...even after everything we had been through. Had to pay in cash. Then we were reminded to pay daily even though we had already paid 4 nights in advance. It's really too bad. Would not stay again.
