The Patra Hotel - Rama 9

Very outdated. We got the wrong room to begin with. Stayed in total of 3 nights. Would not recommend, nothing wrong with the room itself after we got the right one. But the hotel is far from everything, and the staff, the doorman, sooooo lazy; wow. He didn’t open the door or helped with bags. He just stared or wasn’t even there. All in all 2/5. It doesnt feel like a 4 star hotel. Feels like a 1 star. At least thanks to the cleaning team, the rooms were clean. The pool area??? It looked like a construction site. A lot of noise from traffic and next room where watching tv from 4-5am, so noisy.

very bad experience. firstly, when we wanted to check in, we were told that the previous guest refused to check out and is asking for an extension (right at the timing where the next guest was supposed to check in). while we booked and paid for a bigger bed, we were given 2 single beds that was joint together. i do not understand why there was no measures to ensure timely check out of each guest. when the concierge lady gave us a room that was not what we paid for, there was no sense of remorse or compensation. secondly, the toilets were in such bad condition. for a 4 star hotel, there was no hot water. if you turn the water faucet to the hot water portion, the water pressure is basically non existent. next, the tap seems like it’s going to drop out anytime. there clearly seems to be no maintenance of the toilets. next, the wiring of the room lights were so bad that the lights kept turning off even when the card was slot in. the only saving grace is the room service was good. i observed that they did change the bedsheets everyday. not much to expect here, but water was refilled everyday, and air conditioning was good. overall, very displeased with the hotel concierge woman, and with the state of the toilet, and room light system. this hotel does not deserve its 4-star rating.
