The Westin Grande Sukhumvit, Bangkok

The team at the Westin Grande is simply amazing, the gym, the steam room and pool all really nice. The area is Sukhumvit Asoke area. The rooms are classic Westin rooms with wonderful beds. The breakfast was fantastic and and entrance was beautiful. Again it all came down to the service of the staff, everyone was so kind and I’ll be definitely coming back.

I recently stayed at The Westin Grande Sukhumvit I had initially booked for the first two days of my trip just to check the hotel but ending up extending for 8 nights . Great Experience !!! Had an amazing stay with family. The entire team is professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and exceptionally friendly. Location was great. Hotel was very nice. All the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They were attentive and quick to address any requests we had . Mr Manoj ( Chef ) and Mr Emer (Restaurant Manager ) really made all efforts to make our stay so comfortable .. looking forward to returning soon !!!

Over the past years I have written several reviews about this hotel. I could once again mention its perfect location next to Asok BTS and the MRT, the very comfortable sunbeds by the pool, the lounge which in my opinion is one of the best in Bangkok, and the spacious rooms with a wonderful bed and high-quality 400-thread-count linen. Or the large, beautiful mirror in the bathroom, which is one of those small details you appreciate every day. What really makes this hotel stand out, however, is the way it continues to invest in itself. This level of quality can only be maintained because the hotel is constantly improving. Without it being obvious, there is ongoing “silent renovation” taking place. This keeps the hotel, which has been around for some time, fresh, attractive and fully up to date — and it shows. You do not always notice it immediately, but for example the pool now has brand-new towels again, clearly chosen to last for years. The televisions in the rooms have also been upgraded; streaming from an Android device is now possible, and it seems only a matter of time before iPhone streaming will follow. Breakfast also deserves a special mention. The selection in the morning is extensive and of high quality, with something for everyone. Everything is fresh, well replenished and served in a relaxed atmosphere, making it a very pleasant start to the day. In the evening, the bar is a comfortable and welcoming place to end the day. The atmosphere is relaxed, and for smokers it is particularly convenient that you can step outside onto the long balcony to enjoy a cigarette, without disturbing other guests. If you are staying at the hotel, make sure to also dine at the excellent Japanese restaurant at least once. The quality is very high, with, among other things, truly delicious sushi, making it well worth a visit. The staff deserves a 10 across the board — and sometimes even more. I deliberately do not mention individual names, as I would inevitably do others an injustice. Everyone contributes to the consistently high standard of this hotel. It is also very helpful for guests that all staff members wear name badges. Even the youngest team members have badges indicating that they are in training, which comes across much more friendly and personal than the simple “trainee” label used in many other hotels. These may seem like small details, but together they are exactly what makes this hotel great — and continues to make it even better.
