Tongtara Riverview Hotel

While the hotel exterior and common areas appear attractive, we were very disappointed with the condition of the rooms. We booked three rooms and unfortunately all three were in poor condition and clearly in need of renovation. In each room the bathroom floor was constantly wet due to water leaking or pooling even when the shower had not been used, despite efforts to dry the floor the water would return, making the environment uncomfortable. The bed was very uncomfortable — it was extremely firm and made loud noises with even the slightest movement, which made it difficult to get a proper night’s sleep. In addition the bedsheet had several holes and noticeable stains, including what appeared to be oil marks in multiple areas. This significantly impacted the overall cleanliness and comfort of the room. Additionally we found the operating hours for the pool and fitness center to be highly inconvenient. Opening at 10:00 AM and closing again at 6:00 PM does not accommodate guests who wish to enjoy these facilities in the early morning or evening — which is typically when many prefer to exercise or relax. Regrettably, our stay felt more stressful than enjoyable. Based on our experience,, we would not recommend this hotel to others looking for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. The service was great but not worth the price and hassle of the rooms.

The room was not good at all the bathroom is not clean and the smell of the room was very bad. For the breakfast I found insects by the plate in the salads side and people were eating using the same spoon it was so disgusting and wego gave me a choices for smoking or non smoking room and the whole hotel was nob smoking

Nice hotel with a few issues! Booked a twin room and they gave us a king instead with no option to change! Rooms were a little dirty (there was a spot of blood on the mirror?? so creepy lol) they would only give out one room key, wifi does not work at all on the higher floors, there was no thermostat and the room was uncomfortably warm at night, bad water pressure but its thailand so! overall would not recommend unless for a last minute stay
