Urban Hostel Bangkok
Unassuming quarters with shared & private bathrooms, plus a rooftop terrace & a cafe.
About
A well-kept hostel on a lively Sukhumvit side street surrounded by local vendors and street food. Rooms are clean and comfortable, the rooftop terrace is a good spot to unwind, and the neighborhood has a genuine community feel that many nearby hotels lack.

We had a great stay and really enjoyed our time here. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was good, and everything felt well maintained. The location was also very convenient, close to shops, restaurants, and main attractions, which made getting around really easy. The hosts were friendly, helpful, and always available if we needed anything. Overall, it was a smooth and relaxing stay and we would definitely recommend it.

Fantastic location on a small but busy side street. Lots of local vendors both street and shop. Seems to be popular place with the locals and commuters had great community vibe. Vendors start preparing food EARLY 3am on, we popped out at 5.30am and managed to secure some charcoal grilled 4 pork / 2 liver skewers as well as pork slices with fried egg on rice and half a freshly diced papaya, for the amazing sum of 220 bhat. Just under £5 or euros, for two of us. 7 11 and popular attractions are all around. It's 600m from MRT. The river about the same. Chinatown is ones top on the MRT. Place clean and kept that way, husband and wife team very easy going and helpful. Personally I loved it, so am going to recommend. It's not the newest place but it's clearly their home so had a special feel.

Very disappointed -rude office stuff looks like they don’t get enough wage (feel sorry but if they don’t like why nor to change job) -food in restaurants expensive and disgusting -coffee cost 200bah downstairs in shop ,next door 30baht

I was a bit disappointed in the room. It smelled bad, and didn't feel clean enough, so we were very uncomfortable. The bed had a plastic cover under the sheet! So everytime you move while sleeping, you wake up! And didn't feel comfortable at all. We didn't have problems checking in! But it took them a while to find our booking. The location of hostel is actually really good, close to 2 bus stations. So it is good enough for a one night stay but don't expect much.

Smalle rooms (you get what you pay for) but very clean. Runned by an old couple. They are very friendly and helpful (but sometimes slowly)
