⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (If six stars were possible!) I was recently referred to Dr. Marisa Pongprutthipan in the Vichaiyut Hospital Department of Dermatology. My goal was to find the very best Mohs surgeon, whether in the U.S. or Bangkok. After thoroughly researching nearly every Bangkok hospital offering Mohs surgery, I found Dr. Marisa, met with her, completed some pathology work, and scheduled the procedure. It could not have been better and the hospital is reasonably priced. Coming from a family of doctors in the U.S. and with many physician friends, I can confidently say Dr. Marisa is truly world class. From the first examination through the surgery and post-surgical care, her professionalism, precision, and warmth were exceptional. Her U.S. Fellowship training at Northwestern Universtity in Chicago is evident in every detail of her technique and patient care. The post surgical experience was without pain killers or any discomfort, she is also technically gifted. I also want to applaud Vichaiyut Hospital and its wonderful staff. From the check-in desk on the ground floor to the nursing team and even the dining area staff, everyone was friendly, attentive, and kind. The entire experience reflected a level of care and coordination that rivals — and in many ways exceeds — top hospitals in the US or Thailand. If you’re considering Mohs surgery or dermatologic care in Bangkok, you are not likely to find a better experience, anywhere.

Vichaiyut Hospital (The North Building) is located in samsen nai area (Phaya Thai). Lovely staff members, wards and doctors. They do care for your injuries. A very good private hospital indeed. Prices (if not considering social security/welfare for your organization) are not too overly high. Around 1000-2000 Baht for consultation with the Doctor. Booking system is not complicated at all. At ease actually. Operator will ask for your name, name of doctor you want to see (you have to know your own symptoms first), or even you can ask them whether which doctor is specialist on your pain/injury...they are more than happy to seek the best infor for you. Parking capacity is quite spacious and not difficult as well. My family and myself have been using Vichaiyut's service for a very long time. Very efficient. Very reliable. Many top notched doctors are there. The new building, there's medical check up center on level 11 and the foodcourt is on level 13. All staff are accomodating and smiles all the time. Updated as of 2024: the North building, now have starbucks on lobby floor. As an IPD patient, the room itself is clean. Lovely ward. All surgeons, doctors and nurses are doing their best to accomodate you. Pricey, but if you have insurance coverage, it could save you more.
