The NHK Legend is True! 🌟 The Best Mayongchit in Bangkok If you are coming here because you saw Warm Welcome Café on NHK Japan, let me tell you—it lives up to every bit of the hype! This tiny gem in Sukhumvit 33 has become a pilgrimage site for dessert lovers across Asia, and for good reason. The Mayongchit (Marian Plum) Cake is treated like absolute gold here. Unlike other bakeries that might lose the fruit's texture in a cold fridge, they actually leave the air conditioning on overnight to keep the fruit at the perfect, gentle temperature for the next morning’s batch. That level of dedication is insane, and you can taste it in every bite. Why it’s a must-try: Freshness: The fruit is incredibly plump, sweet, and vibrant. Balance: It’s not overly sweet; the cream is light, letting the seasonal Mayongchit shine. The Vibe: It’s a cozy, "warm welcome" indeed, though it gets very busy! ⚠️ Tip for travelers: Since the NHK feature, these sell out FAST. Come early in the morning if you want to secure a slice of this "seasonal gold." Truly a 10/10 experience for anyone visiting Bangkok! 🇹🇭🍰
