White House Hostel Pratu Nam

This is hands down the most UNFRIENDLY and UNWELCOMING hostel I have ever stayed at. From the moment I checked in, the staff made it very clear that they did not care about guests at all. Every staff member at the reception counter, both day and night shift, was EXTREMELY unfriendly, unhelpful, and rude whenever you asked for assistance. The worst experience was with the guy working the night shift at the counter. He was especially rude and completely unwilling to help. Asking a simple question felt like an inconvenience to him. The girl with long hair who wears glasses was also very unwelcoming and unhelpful, and she never once apologized despite keeping me waiting for hours the day of my check out (why would you leave at checkout hours?). I stayed at this hostel during the first week of January 2026. During checkout, I almost missed my flight because the counter was constantly empty. Staff would leave a sign saying they would return in 10–20 minutes, but in reality, they were gone for 1–3 hours or even longer. This happened repeatedly. No staff member was present when guests clearly needed assistance. As for the hostel itself, it is very basic. My room was fine and my bed was soft and comfortable, but there was a strong smell that I could not stand. Whenever u stepped out of the room, u could clearly smell a bad odor coming from the toilet area. The place was also very chaotic. There were random items, luggage, and clutter everywhere, which made the hostel feel disorganized and poorly managed. The reception area was almost always unattended and extremely hot. They put up a sign saying the air conditioning was broken, yet I saw staff turning it on and using it themselves at times. It is completely unacceptable for a hostel to leave the front desk unattended during checkout hours, especially when guests are rushing for flights. There was no sense of responsibility, urgency, or basic customer service,no apologies, no explanations, and no accountability. I would absolutely not recommend this hostel to anyone. If u care about cleanliness, organization, basic respect, or not missing ur flight, stay somewhere else.

We arrived at 2am they arr helpful but once you enter the place you smell the stinky shoes gathered before you ho upstairs i guest thats from all their guest so they need to bring shoes upstairs. If you have abig luggage this is not for you, no lift you have to bring your own luggage. Room is small smells bad
