Wiengket Heritage 1964

BOOK YOUR ROOM! :) Wiengket Heritage 1964 is truly a hidden gem near Khaosan Road, yet it still feels very relaxed and quiet. I loved my stay from the beginning to the end of my trip and felt welcome right away. We arrived quite late since our flight landed at 9 pm, but the hotel made everything very easy. We received clear instructions for self check-in and a code to access the room cards, which worked perfectly. The next morning we were greeted by the owner, who was incredibly kind and gave us great tips about things to do in the area. The rooms were absolutely spotless — honestly cleaner than any place I have stayed before. The beds were very comfortable, the AC worked perfectly, and we also had a lovely balcony. I honestly have nothing to complain about. Some reviews mention homeless people and night workers in front of the hotel, and while that is true, it did not make us feel uncomfortable or unsafe at all. There is also a 7-Eleven nearby where you can easily grab snacks and drinks, and the hotel itself offers a snack bar available at all times. On the last day, the staff helped us carry our heavy luggage into the grab car, we truly appreciate the service! I would happily recommend this place to my family and friends and would love to come back again as soon as possible. A 10/10 stay and absolutely worth every penny. The rooms are clean and comfy and the staff is very kind and available. Location is convenient near the heart of Chiang Mai Old Town and there are some night markets nearby.

Loved the location - we could walk to so much here. It’s definitely a real neighborhood- not polished for tourism but please don’t think this means that it feels unsafe - it actually feels lovely! The staff were so sweet to our group which consisted of many children. They tolerated them playing games downstairs for hours and even had some games they all enjoyed playing. Clean, comfortable beds and beautifully decorated. Will be back.
