A perfect soul-soothing meal at Jok 9 Mor (โจ๊ก 9 หม้อ)! After a peaceful day, I stopped by for their famous congee and it did not disappoint. The congee texture is incredibly smooth and flavorful. The absolute highlight is the Century Egg—it's perfectly prepared with a rich, creamy, lava-like yolk that pairs beautifully with the warm bowl. The ingredients are fresh, especially the aromatic ginger and spring onions. Great taste, very affordable prices, and excellent, friendly service. Rice congee is popular for the night travelers, options with pork and its entrails or extra Onzen egg. If you do not wish to eat all the option, customer may ask the staff to serve congee with only pork or with only egg (price may be different.) The shredded ginger and sliced scallion are given when serving as free option. The rice congee is 50.- but the crispy noodle is 10.- as the optional. The napkins are provided.

Stir-fryed fish was just oil and no fish. So the didn’t wanted to pay for it, that is good.

Congees are served up quickly and is reasonably priced. However, the ingredients ( I had pork meatballs) are fairly ordinary and is hard to gauge if they are truly fresh. The scallion and ginger that came with my congee was extremely dried out.
