Asawin on Banthat Thong Road is a solid choice if you’re craving authentic Thai boat noodles. The food is good—rich, savoury broth and well-balanced flavours that hit the spot. Portions are small, just like how boat noodles should be, so you can try different varieties in one sitting. Service is friendly and fast, which makes dining here pleasant and hassle-free, even during busy hours. The staff are attentive and welcoming, adding to the overall experience. The atmosphere is good, with a clean and comfortable setup that feels lively yet relaxed—a nice place to enjoy a quick bowl or linger with friends over a few rounds. For a fuss-free, tasty boat noodle experience in Bangkok, Asawin is definitely worth a visit!

Guess I was the 1st customer of the day. Nice, quaint shop with authentic THAI Noodle dishes. Ican say the sliced pork over boat noodles was ok, not impressed. Broth was good but was a little sweeter than I anticipated. Decent visit .

Asawin Boat Noodles is located on a busy food street in Bangkok, but when we went around 9 PM, it was surprisingly quiet. The food wasn’t bad, but nothing really wowed me — especially when comparing it to Thai food back home in Melbourne. I was definitely drawn in by the clean interior and the well-presented signage, but the boat noodles themselves were just average. Meatballs were pretty mid. The rice noodles had a nice texture, and the meats were tender. If I had to highlight one thing, it’d be the broth — but even that leaned overly sweet, like most of the dishes I had along this street, which didn’t quite work for my tastebuds. That said, the service was friendly and welcoming, so props to the staff for that.

Boat noodle with very condensed taste. We ordered pork but there is some part of the beef in it. Service is not good, not clean and confusing. We needed to tell them what we haven’t got from the order and they just realized and brought later. Cook in the kitchen doesn’t wear any mask or cooling hat to care for hygiene. The only good thing is the desserts which was nice.
