Bangkok Bike Tours

The 5 hour tour was a good half day out exploring the back streets across the river ending at the temple with the largest buddha. Took a boat back to the pier close to the start point and made our way back by bike. A drink stop and lunch stop was provided. Guide instructions were good and bikes were serviceable. Make sure to check all brakes and tire pressures before heading out. Food and drinks were fine and tasty! Our guide was very forthcoming with information when we were stopped and we asked. What would have been better is that our guide gave more information about the neighborhoods or highlight something interesting in the neighborhoods that we cycled through. There were a few explanations but I felt that we were just cycling through random neighborhoods and past multiple temples. One more feedback point was that the river ride was unusual in that the boat driver would accelerate then slow down then accelerate again.... this happened multiple times on the journey back. Not sure why a steady pace was not maintained. There were also no stops or tour explanations given about the areas we were passing along the river, nor explanations about the lifestyles or nature we sighted along the way (e.g. different types of birds, etc).
