While walking through Song Wat I unexpectedly came by Beans Cafe. A very cool cafe with a chill vibe inside. In a great location, this is a must visit cafe on the Bangkok cafe scene.

A genuinely good coffee shop. The staff are friendly and give honest recommendations—you can ask freely. I ordered two drip coffees and was not disappointed. The Honduras was especially nice, with a clear, pleasant aroma. Simple, easy to enjoy, and not overly complex.

Looking for a chill coffee or matcha stop while exploring Song Wat? BEANS Coffee Roaster Songwat, tucked away in Krai Alley, is a great place to slow down for a bit. I went for their coconut flower matcha—smooth, well balanced, and subtly sweet, making it especially refreshing. Perfect for a short break or a longer sit. The space is stylish and clearly an Instagram/TikTok magnet, so it can get busy with people enjoying the vibe. That said, there’s a quieter upper floor that feels a bit hidden—ideal if you want a calm spot to work, relax, or have a private chat. Currently, the café is hosting WanderDOG: A Journey of iJUD, a limited exhibition by Wasinburi, a Silpathorn Award–winning artist known for his mixed-breed dog sculptures. The eye-catching dog artworks outside and around the café are part of the exhibition, running until 28 January 2026, and definitely add another reason to stop by.
