In case this helps anyone, I had to fly from Chiang Mai to Bangkok because the Chiang Mai office has been closed. I’m a US citizen applying for a tourist (L) visa. I did the online application which for some reason took 3 weeks to review. They then requested an additional document and it took another 2 weeks before I got the “online review completed” (I applied 2 months in advance of my trip) I chose express, arrived just after 9am on a Monday with the email printed out that they send you, plus the first and last page of the application. I also brought printed copies of everything and a backup photo just in case there was an issue but none of that was needed. Was told to come back Wednesday starting at 1pm. My online status that it was ready didn’t update until 12:30pm Wednesday and I didn’t get any type of email that it was ready, so just check the online status before going. I got there a little after 1pm, waited for about 20 minutes and was given my passport back with my tourist visa! The employees were very kind, they double checked the visa I was applying for and duration, and everything was easy! Results may vary (as evidenced by other reviewers here) depending on visa type, and if you have all the documents uploaded correctly for the online application. Hope this helps someone!

Easy, No Queues, just make sure you have the online form approved first, print the front page with your photo + the approval document, take your passport pay the fee of 2625 for express 2 days. take cash only, take the correct amount as there might not be change available. pretty painless really.

Thanapoom Building, Floor 5, has parking, stamp for free 2 hours, also walkable distance from Pechaburi station. Do not come here to ask about visa, fill the form from the website and upload documents Passport page, recent Thai visa, other country visa if have, two empty blank pages, two way flights, Hotel. Fill properly - no blank, no short forms like Co., Ltd. Once approved you can submit here they will charge 600 baht for their charge, embassy fees depend on your type, tourist visa 3,000 baht for fast service otherwise 2,000 baht for 2 entries Fast service is 2 working days, 3 rd day you can receive passport. Normal service 5 working days.

Spent 6 weeks getting approved in a tedious and time consuming process. Repeated trivial details over and over again. Once approved I couldn’t get passport stamped and returned in time for the planned flights. Had to cancel holiday trip to Beijing. Seems like this might be a new trend judging by all these recent reviews.

Visa processing time is now 2+ months! My experience here was very frustrating. I tried applying for a Chinese visa in advance, but my documents were repeatedly rejected. Even after arriving in Thailand and updating everything as requested, the application was declined daily with new “mistakes” — like being asked to change the inviting company’s name from English letters to Chinese characters. Each correction delayed the process by another day. Communication was difficult, and I couldn’t find clear instructions on how to submit the documents correctly from the first attempt. After several visits and long wait times, I was told I would get my passport back in 3 days. But after 5 days, I received a call informing me the process would now take at least 2 months, even though I had already waited for 2 weeks. It was quite surprising to hear that a 30-day, single-entry visa would require such a long wait. I paid over 2,000 THB, but when I decided to withdraw my passport due to time constraints (as a non-Thai citizen, I can’t legally stay that long without a visa), I received only a partial refund with no clear explanation. I believe applicants should be clearly informed about visa processing timelines and refund policies before making a payment. Overall, the process was time-consuming, confusing, and disappointing. I sincerely hope the center improves their communication and provides clearer guidance, especially for foreigners relying on their support.
