About
Easae Coffee Shop in Chinatown is an unapologetically old school cafe established in 1927 offering authentic drinks and visitor experiences. The owner speaks Mandarin and will chat up language speakers, creating genuine community connection in a historic, lively hub atmosphere.
The reasonable prices combined with great taste and English menu ease ordering, while the 1927-established OG coffee place features Thai-Chinese elder community gathering atmosphere. The authentic vibes and kept-same-menu approach maintain the place's historical character while serving excellent coffee and drinks.

Authentic 1927 vibes! Established in 1927, Eiah Sae is a true piece of history. It feels like a lively community hub where Thai-Chinese elders gather to chat over coffee. I tried the 'Nor-Khow' (Iced Thai Coffee mixed with Thai Tea), a unique blend I’ve never found elsewhere—definitely an interesting and must-try flavor! We also had the traditional custard (Sangkhaya) and butter-sugar toast; while they were classic and nostalgic, the taste was fairly standard. Come here for the authentic 100-year-old atmosphere and the unique drinks!

They moved from their previous locations but within the same area. they have kept their interior similar. The large wooden counter remained. The old photos are also hung on the wall. The menu is also the same. Yet the buzz and queues are no longer seen. My favourite here is their almond milk. Thick and smooth without the powdery feel. Love having the old school toast as well. Come and try this before it fades over time and eventually stops.
