Unfortunately, my experience with this lawyer did not meet expectations. Communication was inconsistent, slow, and always coming late in the evening or at night, which gave the impression that I was not receiving their full attention or focus. Responding at such hours does not allow for clear thinking or full brain power. Answers were partial, requests for calls were avoided, and I had to repeat the same points multiple times, suggesting that my messages were not being read carefully. I ended up writing most of the documents and materials needed for the case myself, as the quality of their work did not meet expectations. The drafts felt generic, AI-generated, and disconnected from the information I had already provided to support the case. The overall approach was passive, with little initiative or strategic input. At times, maintaining a positive relationship with the opposing lawyer seemed more important than representing my interests. Cherry on the cake: A sensitive email was also sent without my approval, despite a clear agreement that all external communication would require review first. This breached the agreed contractual agreement and further reduced my confidence in how the case was handled. Advice for the office: It may be tempting to focus more on new acquisitions than on existing cases where fees have already been paid, but maintaining high-quality service for current clients should be the highest priority, as that builds far more credibility in the long term. Edit after the lawyer responded: It is disappointing to see that instead of taking responsibility, you choose to justify your actions with inaccuracies and false statements. By sharing confidential details about my case publicly, you have only reinforced what I mentioned in my review, that this firm cannot be regarded as reliable or trustworthy. Additionally, the sudden appearance of positive reviews immediately after mine further undermines your credibility.
