I've been procrastinating on writing this because I want to do the review justice—but to delay is the bigger injustice. I knew I had to write a good review, because I could not have asked for a better lawyer. So good was he, that I consider him a friend, even if he considers me annoying with all the questions of mine he does not fail to answer. Maybe I've been in your shoes. One may well be unnerved by being on the wrong side of the law here. It's a foreign system, and the unknown. Not that's its necessarily cruel or unusual—the Thai legal system probably more reasonable than you think, but you have no idea what to expect. Whatever you may or may not have done wrong... we all make mistakes. Itthigorn is decidedly non-judgemental. You need to focus on dealing the legal matter at hand and Itthigorn will help you do just that and then some. After calling around for legal help, you may well find yourself going back to Itthigorn, as I did, because he is a genuine person who seems to care about your situation. He is also a young man who is keen to learn. While a well connected, very experienced lawyer will have its upsides, do not overlook what a man Itthi can do. When it comes down to it, I honestly believe that the situation I was in would not have been handled as well by any other lawyer in Thailand. I was amazed to find that nearly exactly what Itthigorn predicted upon my initial call was how things actually worked out. By comparison the other, more traditionally well-versed lawyer, misjudged the situation. I was facing at least a year. Serious stuff, and I was clearly at fault. We resolved the matter without even going to court. With the help of Itthigorn, a week later I was free to head out, go back to the States and maybe do some serious reflection. I am anticipating visiting Bangkok in the near future, to pay Itthigorn something closer to what he has earned. I'm a "backpacker" not some international elite that deals with large sums of money and high status machinations. Ask Itthi for help and he will probably help you. Above the call of duty. He is trustworthy. You may be surprised at just how well things can go. Practically speaking, Itthigorn is still learning English, but he knows exactly how to deal with the courts and police—he knows how Thailand works, and he is easy to reach on the phone. He has a can-do attitude and gets things done very quickly. His clients tend to be international clients. The Thai legal system has a good side and a bad side, like a lot of things, get on the good side of it with this guy. I was involved in an unpleasant incident, the penalty for which was quite substantial. However, thanks to the competent work of Itthigorn & Partners, the amount was reduced by more than seven times. I am very grateful to Sir Itthigorn Suragarin for the work done! ☺️
