About

A Sukhumvit institution that has been serving pad thai almost as long as the famous Thipsamai down the road. The style is its own — warm service, humble setting, and a quality-to-price ratio that keeps regulars coming back.

The restaurant is next to Thipsamai Padthai Pratoopee. This is another Pad Thai that has been open almost the same time as Thipsamai opened. The taste is not much different, but it has its own style and is more affordable than Thipsamai. And of course, you don‘t have to wait in long queues that are crowded with foreigners but it is a restaurant that does not have air conditioning and is more like old style. The staff are mostly elders and may take a little time to do things but the service is good, and the food is also nice.

Everyone is sweating in that 2-hour Michelin line next door, but the locals know the real move is Loong Paa. Just as much "wok hei," half the price, and zero wait time. Uncle Paa has been tossing these noodles for years, and that tamarind glaze? Pure magic. If you want authentic Pad Thai without the tourist crowd, this is your spot!

We arrived to this place after considering going to Jay Fai but having a bad experience, and I'm happy we did. Service is warm, humble and authentic. The relation Quality/Price is very good. I'm sure we ended up spending at least half of the amount we would pay in the other restaurant. If you are around, give an opportunity to this place also. Less promotion and publicity, but way more appreciation. Thank You so much!

It was my first time trying Pad Thai here. The restaurant is close to Thipsamai, just one building in the middle between them. The Pad Thai was 120 baht, which is cheaper than Thipsamai, but the taste was kind of bland, although they had already added a little chili. The place was a bit dirty and open-air. No service charge. We found a chive in my drink. In my personal opinion, I still prefer Thipsamai, even if I have to pay more.

This is the most sweetest Padthai in Thailand. I need to eat here because Thipsamai suddenly closed today. This shop is same price but the quality, taste and atmosphere is more worse than Thipsamai. I strongly don’t recommend this shop! Dirty shop but not cheap and worse taste. Not worth for money at all. Service is another level if compare with Thipsamai
