Located in the Kao Shan area, this street food stall offers the best Tom Yam Soup till date. The soup is slightly thick, creamy, not too salty but packed with an umami punch. The secret lies with the shrimp head fat/brain soup base. Other dishes didnt disappoint either.

Reasonable price for street food. The portion is worth for the price. Tom yum kung (River prawn spicy soup) is so delicious and spicy. Every seafood I ordered is very fresh and big size for this price. *If you can’t eat spicy food as much you should tell them first before you order.

Went to try the seafood tomyum. It’s different because they add in the prawn’s head in the soup. Also tried the omelette which was too much for 2 person (I think they added about 4-5 eggs). It was very crispy and delicious. I love the prawn fritters with vinegar chilli sauce, the best I ever tasted. There was a long queue but most people were there to takeaway. Not many tables but the stall is always crowded with people. Lacks hygiene but couldn’t expect much from a roadside stall. Note: non-halal as they serve pork.

I was incredibly disappointed with our meal here. While Thai food is usually simple and delicious, the shrimp salad was easily the worst meal I’ve had in Thailand. The shrimp were tough, scraggy, and completely tasteless. To make matters worse, the vegetables were unpleasantly chewy and almost inedible. My wife’s shrimp dish was just as poor. The only redeeming part of the meal was the plain boiled rice. A total waste of a meal and a missed opportunity.
