Classic spot with history, but very sweet! Mont Nomsod has been an iconic dessert shop for decades. They offer a huge variety of flavors for both toast and milk, making it a nostalgic place to visit. However, be prepared—their drinks and toppings are extremely sweet, which seems to suit local Thai taste preferences! If you have a sweet tooth, you’ll love it, but if you prefer lower sugar, you might find it a bit overwhelming. Overall, it's still a classic local experience worth trying at least once.

Very famous dessert restaurant in town. Toast is their signature and you can select flavour by your own such as sugar, butter, yam or etc. Their milk are also made by themselve and variety of taste. Their bakery is also fresh made everyday. Price is also very affordable and suitable for both Thai and foreigner.

I visited Mon Nom Sod near the Giant Swing, and the food and drinks were absolutely delicious. The fresh milk, toast, and desserts were rich in flavor and freshly prepared. The staff provided excellent service, being friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout my visit. The atmosphere was lively and enjoyable, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a tasty treat. I highly recommend Mon Nom Sod to anyone looking for delicious desserts and outstanding service in Bangkok.

Evidently extremely popular with the local crowd, with barely any tourists around. The whole place runs almost like a fast food operation. Three separate basic queues; one each for drinks, steamed buns, and toasted buns. A very efficient production line style system where you place your order, pay, and collect your food instantly. Fast turnover, noisy atmosphere, tiny tables, and stools packed tightly together. Definitely not somewhere you would want to linger for too long. That said, the energy and local charm are part of the experience. Avoid if you need to keep your sugar levels in check.
