Open 24 hours and consistently reliable, this Sukhumvit congee spot does roasted pork jok that regulars order two nights running. Prices stay in the budget range, and the fried dough makes a solid side.

I went there a few days ago when I was sick with stomach pains and fever. The soup was delicious and the texture was so soft.

Very good porridge. The roasted pork is superb! Enjoyed the supper 2 days in a row. First day grab. 2nd day come dine in. Quality jok. The fried dough is the bigger one will be even better.

Mu Tong Congee in Bangkok is a lifesaver for hunger, especially since it’s open 24 hours. The prices are very affordable, and the food is delicious. There are many exciting congee options, but I particularly enjoyed mine without intestines, just century egg and minced pork meatballs. The portion was generous, and the staff were decent. Atmosphere is old but clean enough.
