About

Chinatown's well-known fried dough shop with an outlet at Emsphere's basement food court for a more relaxed queue. The patong go is light and fluffy, and the pandan cream is the condiment worth adding. Takeaway-friendly with orders moving at a steady pace.

If you happen to pass by, it’s something I’d definitely recommend trying at least once. Since fried food should always be eaten hot, it’s best to order only a small, manageable portion of pa tong go. It’s probably not worth making a special trip just for this, though. After all, this is Chinatown, where there’s an overwhelming variety of food options to choose from.

This popular shop in Chinatown Yaowarat is super crowded and orders can take sometime. I found an outlet at the Emsphere basement street food court. The queue is shorter and one can eat at a more pleasant aircon place . Also the food prep area is cleaner and one can see how your food is done. The best flavour is the 3 combination mix where the fried baby fritters are served with condensed milk , sesame seed ,fresh coconut meat n green kaya on request. Heavenly snack that goes well with hot Thai tea . There is another snack stall next to it that sells yummy coconut cream filled love letters . So delicious when freshly baked , as crispy and so flavourful that one can just pop a box of 5 pieces . The wafer thin love letters comes with different toppings and one can pick when buying . Another creative delicious food for those with sweet tooth.

01/November/2025 Takeaway fried dough with additional 1 serving of pandan cream (kaya), was extremely good. Light and fluffy. Pandan cream was good too. Long queue cleared relatively fast. Only takeaway is available.

If you enjoy the smell and taste of ammonia in your dessert, let alone ingesting it, then by all means buy these little doughnuts. For the life of me, I don't understand why anyone would think it right to add ammonia into their food! If I knew this in advance, I would not buy from here. I've had these type of doughnuts elsewhere but NEVER before did I taste or smell ammonia in them! Why on earth add ammonia and still receive the Thai version of “Michelin stars”?! Are you trying to kill people and be awarded for it?! Stop adding ammonia!!!! My tongue immediately went numb after eating one and the smell of ammonia is so overwhelming that we threw the rest away. I had stomach cramps shortly after. They aren't overpriced at all, and their service was quite charming, but sadly the ammonia spoiled it for me.
