Most of the positive reviews here seem to cover the customer experience of acquiring health insurance, which means they found a friendly or helpful agent. There seem to be very few reviews about the actual experience of filing claims and receiving payouts. The company seems follow the usual playbook of not paying claims by calling everything a preexisting condition. I'd like to see more reviews about actual claims and reimbursements. All insurance policies are great until you actually need to be reimbursed.

Had a rash on my whole body and went to the hospital, the doctor did some tests to find out what it is. When I wanted to claim my money back they didn't reimburse me for the test saying it was medically not necessary - well I guess the doctor knows a whole lot bet ter what is necessary and what isn't, avoid these guys at all costs

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Pacific Cross. I had sudden, severe stomach pain and went to Bangkok Hospital Pattaya for an urgent medical examination. I had an ultrasound, X-ray, and a doctor’s consultation — all completely standard diagnostic procedures for an acute medical issue. Despite this, Pacific Cross refused to cover any of the costs. They claimed my visit fell under an exclusion, yet when I reviewed the policy myself, none of the exclusions applied. It was not a routine check-up, not a pre-existing condition, not cosmetic, not pregnancy-related, not mental health – absolutely nothing in their exclusion list matched my case. I repeatedly requested clarification and all I received was vague, copy-and-paste responses that did not address the situation. Instead of supporting their customer during a genuine medical issue, they chose to deny the claim without proper justification. The experience has left me feeling completely let down and misled. I relied on this insurance in good faith, and despite being clearly eligible, they refused to reimburse anything. It genuinely feels like they will look for any excuse not to pay out. I would strongly advise anyone considering this insurance to think twice, as it has provided me with no real support when I needed it most.
