Pad Thai Fai Ta Lu (Dinso Rd)

Another Bangkok Michelin gem quest. Kinda tourist destination, bit pricey to me but here's I taste one of the authentic pad thai that most local foodies recommended. I chose the cheapest one, Normal Pad Thai, it came in a small portion. Not so oily rice noodle, well stir-fried with minced pork, fragrant smoky aroma, topped with fresh raw bean sprout and chives, on banana leave base. And don't forget to squeeze the lime too. Perfect! Michelin can't be wrong, this one is well deserved. Elegant and quiet ambience, good and artistic lighting. Excellent service by all staffs, super attentive and polite. Recommended.

We came here on a Monday evening after friends recommended it, and it totally lived up to the hype. The vibe is really cool – at first we were confused why there was nobody downstairs, but then we went upstairs and found a big, lively seating area. Unfortunately the pork belly was sold out (we really wanted to try it), so we went for the BBQ Iberian Pork and the BBQ lychee-fed chicken instead, and we definitely didn’t regret it. The Pad Thai with the lychee-fed chicken (250 THB) was so incredibly good that, after we finished everything, we actually ordered a second plate – and we never do that. It’s worth every single baht. For us, this was the best food we had during our days in Bangkok: intense flavours, but on a real next level. They also serve their own beer, which is a nice bonus. If we’re ever back in Bangkok, we’ll 100% come here again.

They serve the prime authenthic Pad Thai. One of the best I have tasted, freshly made and delighted my taste buds. Beyond the best! My ultimate favorite was fried pork slices on top of the noodles. Visited in 2023 & 2024. This store is my go to whenever I crave for Pad Thai. Savory dishes where every bite is perfection. The service is excellent. Highly recommended.
