Passport Bookshop

It’s such a cute bookshop! They have a good selection of English books, even Thai books translated as well as souvenirs like post cards, bookmarks, pins. I wish I knew beforehand that they only accept cash, because I could have bought more things than I did.

Met the loveliest couple of bookstore owners (that embodied the height of great service by being generous with their time and attention) here. Not only did they offer to hand-wrap each notebook that I bought, they also gave me a list of art-related recommendations after speaking to/hearing about my travels. I also got a plate of handmade waffles with banana and chocolate sauce, served with the cutest vintage utensils. Time really slows down here.

Incredibly well equipped bookstore ran with a lot of heart. The owners make you feel right at home in the middle of a busy city. You can see each visitor is valued by the amount of postcards received from all around the world! Thank you for fantastic book recommendations and warm talks!
