Ordered the pork rendang with pork katsu and it seriously exceeded expectations. Such an unexpected combination, but it worked beautifully. The rendang was rich, fragrant, and genuinely authentic, while the pork katsu was light, crunchy, and cooked perfectly — not greasy at all. The contrast between the deep, spiced rendang and the crisp katsu made the dish interesting and satisfying without feeling heavy. Portion was generous, flavours were spot on, and everything tasted freshly made. Service was fast, friendly, and efficient, especially impressive given how busy MBK can be. All of this for around $7 AUD, which feels like a steal for the quality. Delicious, affordable, and memorable — absolutely worth seeking out if you’re eating at MBK. Only thing impacting atmosphere was the food court environment so it was hard to get a table at peak hour.
