The food was merely average, and the atmosphere felt rushed and overcrowded, leaving little room to truly relax and savor the occasion. Most disheartening, however, was the service. Our server was inattentive and unprofessional — carelessly placing dishes on the table, failing to explain the courses, and even attempting to clear our plates before we had finished. It was particularly upsetting to witness other tables receiving noticeably better treatment. Although the manager eventually intervened and slightly improved the situation, the evening had already lost its charm. For such a special celebration, we had hoped for warmth, elegance, and thoughtful service. Sadly, it fell short of expectations. ♥

I booked a dinner cruise in Bangkok as a surprise gift for my mum’s 60th birthday. Given how special the occasion was, I carefully reviewed several options and chose this cruise based on its reviews and food selection. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The food was average at best and did not justify the price. The entire evening felt rushed, with little opportunity to relax or enjoy the meal. The dining area was overcrowded, with too many guests packed into a small space, which took away from the overall experience. The biggest issue was the service. Our server was rude and unprofessional. He did not explain the dishes, served the food carelessly by slamming plates onto the table, and showed no attention to proper service. We noticed that other tables received much more professional service, which made our experience even more frustrating. At one point, the server attempted to clear our plates while we were still eating, and I had to remind him that we weren’t finished. I was close to asking the manager for a different server. Thankfully, the manager noticed the situation during the main course and stepped in, which slightly improved things. The views were nice and worked well for a few photos, but they were not nearly enough to justify the price tag. Overall, this dinner cruise was not worth it—especially for such an important celebration. I would not recommend it and would definitely consider other options when visiting Bangkok again.
