About
Sawang Noodle operates as a modest street stall on Sukhumvit specializing in crab-based noodle soup, easy to overlook but earning recognition from culinary experts. The simple menu focuses on perfecting house specialties rather than spanning categories.
The rich crab broth delivers thickness and satisfying depth without heaviness. Tender marinated pork, fresh prawn wonton, and chewy noodles compose a harmonious bowl, while Michelin recognition validates the quality hidden within an unassuming shopfront.

Small place and very easy to miss on the street. But food is amazing. If someone likes sea food I can tell this is a good choice. Menu is very simple but this local is famous for crab meat so you should try a dish with this. Portions are very small also so I recommend to order more food. Prices a lot higher then normal street food but this is due to Michelin star.

Another Bangkok Michelin gem quest. Small portion, prawn wonton is great, crab meat also clean and no bone. I ordered their egg noodle with crispy pork and crab meat, but maybe they got wrong, because the pork has sweet taste and not crispy at all. However, overall the noodle excepted by my appetite. Good service, polite. Kind of high price, but worth the Michelin award.

This is one of the best crab noodle we have tasted after our tennis game. The broth is thick and tasty. Food portion, though small, sits well with me being a small eater. My friends ordered 2 bowls each and added prawn ball.

A noodle shop listed in the Michelin Guide, with around 5–7 tables available. I ordered the egg noodles with BBQ pork and crab meat (110 baht) + a soup (20 baht) + deep-fried shrimp rolls (150 baht). After finishing everything, I was still not full. For this price, I expected a larger portion. The noodles were topped with great BBQ pork, but there wasn’t much crab, and the overall dish felt quite oily for me. They also added crackling, which was too salty for my taste. The soup was standard. The deep-fried shrimp rolls were freshly fried, but the taste was quite bland for me.
