Suit Up Bangkok Tailor

Im giving two stars for the following reason, poor quality material. Other than that Rich and his staff are super helpful. I bought two sports coats while I was visiting and they came out to be two different sizes when they were delivered to my hotel, luckily I had some time before my flight back home and I went back to the MbK and Rich was able to make alterations in two hours. Service is great. As for the quality, I went to another tailor for a similar sports coat while I was visiting Bangkok as the colors and patterns are limited. Let me just say the other tailor’s material are significantly better quality and they got my measurements right the first time. Note that I paid about the same price , ~6,000 THB for the piece or around $200 USD.

Hands off! Scammers! Very poor quality! Unfortunately, this tailor cost me a lot of money for poor-quality suits. I relied on the many positive reviews, but in retrospect, I realized that many of them were bought. I ordered two suits in Super 180 quality, but then realized that the quality was not Super 180. It is the cheapest fabric quality with lots of polyester. On top of that, the quality is miserable. The pant legs are uneven and poorly sewn at the bottom, and the jacket doesn't fit as it should. I confronted the tailor about this and offered to refund half the price. Of course, he refused. As a little warning: Never pay in advance! Get written confirmation of the fabric you have ordered! Ask for a fabric sample. I now have the feeling that many tailors in Bangkok are only out to rip off tourists, thereby massively damaging Thailand's image.
