Here’s a breakdown of my experience: Service & Quality of Work: I needed a full tuxedo, and with just a week’s notice before my trip to Bangkok, I was a bit worried about the timeline. However, Tailored by Luis exceeded my expectations! Despite the tight schedule, I was extremely satisfied with the quality of the work. The tuxedo was crafted to perfection, with every detail tailored to my specific requirements. The quality of the fabrics and craftsmanship is top-tier. They managed to create a tuxedo, four dress shirts, and two pairs of trousers in just four days—something most other tailors I researched would need at least a full week for! Customer Service: The customer service here was impeccable. Mr. Luis, the boss and CEO, is not just a businessman but also the true people person behind the brand. He was incredibly responsive via WhatsApp and made sure all of my specific requirements were noted. I had very precise details in mind for my tuxedo—from the jacket style and lapel to the cuff style (functioning surgeon cuffs) and number of pockets. They even made a cummerbund from scratch, which is rare to find in Bangkok tailors. I’ve asked around, and most other shops don’t offer this level of customization. A Special Mention for Mr. Daya: Once you’ve discussed your requirements and settled on pricing with Mr. Luis, you’ll meet Mr. Daya, the head tailor, who takes over the fitting process. If you're particular about the fit, Mr. Daya is the expert you want. He is incredibly detailed and precise with everything—shoulder pad thickness, cuff length, and even hem adjustments. I appreciated his attention to the finer details, like adjusting my French cuffs to accommodate my watch. It’s these small touches that make a huge difference in bespoke tailoring. Pricing: One of the best parts of my experience was that Tailored by Luis was one of the most affordable options I found after doing a lot of research. They offered great value for the level of service and craftsmanship, and I was pleasantly surprised by the competitive pricing. My Verdict: Before you visit, I recommend doing your homework on the styles and cuts you prefer, from collar type to pant tapering. When you know exactly what you want, it makes the process smoother and helps them visualize your requirements. I was in and out of their shop within a couple of days, with everything ready on the night of day 3. When I felt the shawl collar opening was a bit too narrow for my liking, they picked up the tuxedo the next morning, adjusted the lapel, and had it ready again by 4 PM, just in time for my flight home.
