Thonglor Pet Hospital

I brought my cat to Thonglor Pet Hospital Asoke branch for suspected pyometra. While the facilities are modern and the staff professional, I was very disappointed with the cost and communication. I was charged 6,000 THB for the blood test and first consultation, and then quoted around 40,000 THB for the surgery (excluding tests). On top of this, the doctor advised that my cat would need to stay 2–3 days in care at 5,500 THB per day, which would push the total cost even higher. This was far beyond what other reputable hospitals in Bangkok quoted (10,000–15,000 THB including hospitalization). In the end, I chose another Sukhumvit hospital where my cat received surgery and a night of care for 13,500 THB total. I understand that advanced hospitals may charge more, but the pricing here felt excessive and not transparent, especially at such a stressful time. I hope Thonglor Pet Hospital improves its cost transparency and communication with pet owners in the future.
